Trigent, a provider of software services and solutions for enterprise and commercial software clients, will take part in the Web Services Edge Conference & Expo to be held February 15-17 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Tim Kinslow, practice manager for Web-based solutions at Trigent, will present "Migrating ASP to ASP.NET"on Thursday, February 17 at 9 a.m. In this presentation, Kinslow will address how to choose a migration strategy that matches your business objectives and how to effectively plan for a successful migration. In addition, attendees will learn about the technical options and considerations faced during implementation and lessons learned from real-world ASP.NET migrations.

"Migration doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing proposition,"said Kinslow. "Trigent classifies migrations into several distinct categories, based on factors such as the desired time-frame to achieve results and the strategic value the organization places on the move to .NET. During my presentation, I will be sharing with attendees Trigent's .NET Migration Matrix which illustrates five distinct approaches organizations can adopt to achieve a successful migration."

The conference, produced by SYS-CON Events, the world's leading producer of i-technology developer conferences and expositions, is geared primarily toward software developers, engineers and architects, with an increasing number of project managers and upper management staff.
