Enabling an application service provider model for a maker of contract management software

A provider of contract management solutions for enterprise and public sector customers worldwide wanted to expand its market reach by offering software in an ASP model. The company needed to enable Web services for core application functions, including sourcing and procurement, and for the management of compliance, performance, and billing.

The company partnered with Trigent to develop some of its sourcing and procurement applications on the Microsoft .NET platform. Its virtual development team leveraged Trigent's expertise in Microsoft .NET technology as well as the Trigent offshore development center, completing the new solution in only ten weeks. The resulting application enabled their purchasing and vendor clients to manage the sourcing process faster and more efficiently.
