Internationalizing a software change management product

Merant, a provider of global software development tools, asked Trigent to prepare its popular Enterprise Change Management product for the Japanese market.

The product provides a single repository for all of a company's software change management information, regardless of asset type, platform, or development environment, and enables change control over a wide range of processes and assets.

Working collaboratively with the client, Trigent mapped all the features and functions of the original tool while enabling it to meet double-byte character set requirements. The project was completed in a tight timeframe to help the client capitalize on market opportunities while still meeting stringent quality requirements.
