Designing a platform for web conferencing services

Trigent helped PlaceWare (now Microsoft LiveMeeting) to deliver new services and support an expanding customer base by developing a next-generation platform for its Web-based conferencing services.

Drawing on expertise in J2EE development frameworks and the BEA WebLogic application server, Trigent worked with PlaceWare to create an XML/XSL-based solution that supported branding, localization, and preference setting. Trigent helped the client meet a tight project timeline by providing round-the-clock availability through its development centers in the U.S and India and by employing iterative development processes that decreased testing cycle times.

PlaceWare rolled out the first enhancement on the new platform within two months of beginning its design phase and completed a full market launch within four months.
