StartWise customizes services for each client. We will determine the Trigent team best suited to work with you, the most efficient methodology for execution, and the location and pricing model that fits in with your business plans.
The Trigent team consists of business analysts, system architects, developers, UI engineers and designers. A Project Manager oversees this team and works with you as your contact for managing the project and development work.
Occasionally Trigent brings in experts for specific business domains.
An Engagement Manager from the US operations usually manages the client relationship.
Trigent business analysts and architects work closely with you during the initial phases of the project: the Business Idea Generation Phase, the Solution Formulation Phase and the Business and Financial Planning Phase.
We hold comprehensive discussions at the client site with all stakeholders of the project and we expect intense involvement from our clients during these phases.
Most of our Business Planning and Requirements Gathering work is done in the US or using a hybrid US - India team.
StartWise's Development Team plans the methodology for software development and requires the client's involvement during the during iterative testing and design validation. This phase is handled at the India Development Center; the team then moves the application for deployment to your staging / test site, where you would work with the Trigent testing and deployment team, as well as your clients, to ensure acceptance.
Trigent helps clients draw up maintenance and support contracts for longer term support of your product. We also help arrange ISP / hosting service providers and web marketing partners for IT infrastructure and successful launch of your product.
Trigent offers a mix of pricing models to suit each client's needs and specific situations. Models include fixed costs and time and material work.
A fixed cost approach is suitable for projects where the scope is clear and not expected to change substantially during execution.
Fixed prices can also be offered on specific bounded projects, such as preparation of a Technology Strategy Overview Document or a Test Strategy Overview.
We can also start with your high level business needs by working with you to articulate the detailed requirements. These types of "Discovery" assignments are taken up at fixed costs and completed in 3-5 weeks time, in most cases.
In phases where the project scope is evolving, such as the Business Requirements Definition Phase, Trigent offers a Time and Material Contract, often with an overall understanding of the cost.
Core development tasks are usually undertaken on a Time and Material basis unless a clear Discovery of project requirements has been done or a highly clear Software Requirements Document exists.
Trigent follows a well documented Requirement Change Management Process, in which the scope of the project and the impact of changes during the development phase are outlined clearly. Scope changes are managed using a clear Requirements Change Management Process.
Support and Maintenance contracts are invariably based on a Time and Material basis.
We charge hourly rates for projects on a Time and Material contract, and costs vary from Developers to Testers to QA Managers and Project Managers. Contact Trigent for current rates.
