All applications can be built using SOA. SOA is not a solution for all your application problems. You must choose applications that are right fit for SOA.

SOA is a product. You cannot buy a shrink wrapped SOA solution. You must carefully select products, standards and architectural decisions to apply. No vendor can sell you &SOA&.

SOA is enterprise architecture replacement. SOA is only a part of the enterprise architecture; in fact SOA adaptation makes enterprise architecture even more important.

One can implement SOA with a single project. SOA starts with the framework and evolves over multiple projects over time. It is not possible to think of SOA as a single project.
